1) im so craving for bubble tea. but there’s none nearby my house.
2) its been like 5 days since i last visited jo at the hospital due to some personal reasons. he’s appareantly unhappy and we’re not on good terms now. i feel vexed.
3) i have yet to watch ‘ten promises to my dog’ though my family asked me to watch with them just now. i wanted to stay at home alone. anyhow, that period of solitude works wonder and i felt good. but i need to watch it REAL SOON.
4) i need to get another pair of cute flats. ASAP. 
5) liting’s just been accepted into NIE! so ive got a companion! yay to that (:
6) my dogs have seriously no manners at all. haha but i love them still
7) last but not least, i still feel vexed over that thing =/

why i love the absolut thoburn shirt:

1. it doesnt have the huge ACJC font over the chest. nothing too loud, just the cursive and obscure (sorry its been my favorite word this few days) anglo chinese junior college printed in front and a small 100% acjc behind. neat.
2. it says absolut thoburn. its meaningless to outsiders, but within the acs community, its another brilliant house shirt and only acjc could have it because the other acs schools do not allow student designers. one look at it, we all know we are fellow acsians.
3. very very nice design. and its in white! (: my favorite color.

just that white green and black doesnt make up too nice a combi eh. its too… raffles. hmm.

ok thats all for my fav house shirt. oh oh, im quite mad that nus union camp was full even back in the first week of june. and they only have got 350 vacancies for the whole nus 08/09 cohort. i mean, did they think 350 is enough? so im only attending the orientation camp in week 0. beats nothing right.. ohwells. and im having a headache from talking on my hp and house phone for the past 2h15min. uggh. i hope the radiation wldnt kill me.

and if you happen to see in person. ask me about my dental. torrents of blood kept bleeding from the gums yesterday after the dental checkup. non stop. damn freaky. too lazy to write here lol. but im ok now.

In medicine (pulmonology), a pneumothorax, or collapsed lung, is a potential medical emergency caused by accumulation of air or gas in the pleural cavity, occurring as a result of disease or injury, or spontaneously.
Most cases are due to a spontaneous pneumothorax. This means that the pneumothorax develops for no apparent reason. It is thought to be due to a tiny tear (rupture) of an outer part of the lung - usually near the top of the lung. It is not clear why this occurs. Air then escapes from the lung but gets trapped between the lung and the chest wall.

Most cases of spontaneous pneumothorax occur in young adults who are healthy and do not have any lung disease. It is more common in tall thin people. Men are affected about four times more often than women. About 2 in 10,000 young men in the UK develop a spontaneous pneumothorax each year. It is also much more common in smokers compared to non-smokers. It is rare in people over the age of 40. About 1 in 10 people who have a spontaneous pneumothorax have one or more recurrences sometime in the future, usually on the same side
What are the symptoms?

• The typical symptom is a sharp, stabbing pain on one side of the chest which suddenly develops.
• The pain is usually made worse by breathing in (inspiration).
• You may become breathless. As a rule, the larger the pneumothorax, the more breathless you become.
• You may have other symptoms if an injury or a lung disease is the cause. For example, cough or fever.

5 encounters i had whilst i was working at ITE HQ:

1. this guy tring to blow smoke at us lol. joyce believes that it was on purpose while i beg to differ. either way, he did it.
2. we try to avoid this huge gang of guys who were a distance away. so we halted while walking halfway and joyce suggested going into the bldg because she knew i was scared. we waited for a while until we thought it was clear to continue our en route. then the next thing we knew was that they came into the bldg. so we had a direct encounter! they were laughing damn loudly so we werent sure if they saw us go into hiding and did it on purpose. cos the door that we went in was the HQ’s wing. nothing to do with their school compound. so it seems deliberate on their part.
3. a bee was buzzing near me and joyce at this hdb voiddeck and she screamed. this group of ITE students who were standing at somewhere obscure doing their own things.. pop out to look.
4. this group of students and this uncle try to hi to us. we ignored.
5. me and joyce queued at the wrong queue once at the canteen beacuse we cldnt really decide what to eat. when we move to another queue upon deciding, this chinese girl standing behind us scolded us bodoh. what the hell right. not like we are cutting her queue. and then. we met her again the next day when we were at another part of the bldg. sian.

and we concluded abt a few things while we were there too.

1. not many goodlooking guys. ok not our cup of tea.
2. the girls are all from the same factory.  rebonded long hair, dyed, damn fair skin, damn lian.. u get the drift.
3. they all have a special forte, like some girls can really excel in their make up courses. just that they are not good at hard studying thats all. jc people are only good at memorizing i feel.
4. they are normal people also. playing psp everywhere. not like perpetually engaging in fights, unlike some of the impression we get. theres alwys a few black sheep here and there. even in good jcs.
5. not everyone can get into ITE ok. some people dont even qualify. so they go higher nitec. and if they dont qualify for higher nitec.. they retake N levels.

ok thats a long entry. haha im not doing tags. too dangerous! anyway, it was a freaking boring job. nightmare. we wldnt have stayed so long if it wasnt for the $60 a day and the bubbletea fix we need to get thru our day. hahah long overdued entry!

hello. i just drank bubble tea today. the last time i drank was when we were still working ahahaha miss the pearlzzz. dilemma dilemma. i dunno if i should take up this job which is to teach piano ( can be part-time lah ) at this music school at ps. the teacher happen to visit my dad’s shop so he asked her. and she said i could teach since ive alr passed the lasalle and nafa’s audition. but its sucha wrong timing duh! when school’s like starting so soon..
sigh. my phone’s abit screwed and now my msn is spoilt. technology is really failing me =/
oh yeah shuhui, i do really feel bad for not going for the phpps thing ahs! wonder how did it went..haha.

i have just been blog surfing. just randomly reading a few people’s blogs. of those whom i know personally of course. i didnt realise there are so many sad souls out there ): they appear so bubbly outside but their hearts are all so broken. unrequited love and yea teenage angst. but its so sad.. and theres nothing much you can say to them. so what happens when you try to pray to God for solace. but the harder you pray , the faster those tears fall?

sigh. how come. all of us, schooling or not. we have insomnia. so thank goodness i seldom have it. hmmm anyway, i hope my friends doing psychology in the uni can help next time, to learn how to mend broken hearts and save people.

oh oh a random thing. i borrowed a chinese book from the library to read. i havent been reading a proper article/book in chinese for abt 1.5years ): so my chinese is damn freak bad now. realised it when i was trying to help my aunt translate some articles. hahah but the book is by the local author you jin. me and liyun loved her since lower sec. and our writing style is influenced by her. kinda(: i will totally worship her if shes my chinese teacher.

on a lighter note, busy week ahead! dance, meetups, bible study, mambo, class bbq, french lesson, lunch treats, sentosa gathering, tuitioning ETC the coming week. my schedule’s so packed!! and i guess thats good. so that i wont have time to think about certain stuff.

ooh. and do you know that our eyes are 500 megapixels! whilst the best camera at market now is just 12. hahah and our brain capacity might even be from 500 to 1000 terabytes! 1 terabyte is 1000 gigabyte!

hello. i was watching on youtube several fanmade mvs on the show my lucky star. the songs are so damn nice but i couldnt figure out the title of the korean song! pfft. anyway, i heard from my friends that they have received their freshman handbooks and we are supposed to decide if we are staying in hostels by 20 june?! so soon lah…i haven even receive mine and i stil cant decide to stay or not =/
