5 encounters i had whilst i was working at ITE HQ:

1. this guy tring to blow smoke at us lol. joyce believes that it was on purpose while i beg to differ. either way, he did it.
2. we try to avoid this huge gang of guys who were a distance away. so we halted while walking halfway and joyce suggested going into the bldg because she knew i was scared. we waited for a while until we thought it was clear to continue our en route. then the next thing we knew was that they came into the bldg. so we had a direct encounter! they were laughing damn loudly so we werent sure if they saw us go into hiding and did it on purpose. cos the door that we went in was the HQ’s wing. nothing to do with their school compound. so it seems deliberate on their part.
3. a bee was buzzing near me and joyce at this hdb voiddeck and she screamed. this group of ITE students who were standing at somewhere obscure doing their own things.. pop out to look.
4. this group of students and this uncle try to hi to us. we ignored.
5. me and joyce queued at the wrong queue once at the canteen beacuse we cldnt really decide what to eat. when we move to another queue upon deciding, this chinese girl standing behind us scolded us bodoh. what the hell right. not like we are cutting her queue. and then. we met her again the next day when we were at another part of the bldg. sian.

and we concluded abt a few things while we were there too.

1. not many goodlooking guys. ok not our cup of tea.
2. the girls are all from the same factory.  rebonded long hair, dyed, damn fair skin, damn lian.. u get the drift.
3. they all have a special forte, like some girls can really excel in their make up courses. just that they are not good at hard studying thats all. jc people are only good at memorizing i feel.
4. they are normal people also. playing psp everywhere. not like perpetually engaging in fights, unlike some of the impression we get. theres alwys a few black sheep here and there. even in good jcs.
5. not everyone can get into ITE ok. some people dont even qualify. so they go higher nitec. and if they dont qualify for higher nitec.. they retake N levels.

ok thats a long entry. haha im not doing tags. too dangerous! anyway, it was a freaking boring job. nightmare. we wldnt have stayed so long if it wasnt for the $60 a day and the bubbletea fix we need to get thru our day. hahah long overdued entry! 

shuhui is quite liking her life now.

whoaa. i didnt expect that my previous entry on the predictions of juseleeno to garner so much reads! come to think of, its kind of embarrassing to write in that self centered manner. but everyone has been telling me not to worry so much and i need to actually confess that im not as worried as i sound(:

anyway i have been feeling thankful nowdays! especially regarding my university entry. its really tough this year and im glad im going to nus biz. lol ohwells, ntu biz is something i cant get into and something which i dont think i want. aye but my parents have been telling me to just give up on my wait for smu econs’s reply! i dont know, its not that easy since for the past year or so, i only could envision myself walking into smu’s beautiful building, strolling arond the campus and going to town for lunch everyday. another part of me really dont want to let nus down, especially i have already accepted it and i like the people there too. im in such a dilemma!!

its just a few more days to mid june, when smu gets back to me. so my status is still pending pending pending, for the past 3 months or so! since i dont think smu allow appeal, i could only get into econs and try to do a double major in biz’s finance? which is stupid right!! because my ultimate aim is just majoring in finance because i want to go into the investment banking track. and i can do so at nus biz easily :X

i have a conscience. nus gave me the opportnity for me to tell them what i want, and they gave me a shot at my very first choice even though i didnt meet their cut off. thats why most probably im staying there. my decision should just rest at that right?

but no, i have an ungrateful side deep down in my heart, selfish and greedy. so the best thing now is to let smu reject me. let my dream to study there, DIE completely. it will make things so much easier for me. although i will be slightly sad about it. hmmm.

im so so tired. entree meeting ended at 730pm. just like those old days. im drained!

cant believe its been nearly a week! going for my biz interview in 12 hours time. i have somethg against political correct answers. thats what everyone says, at least. but cant believe i gotta turn into one of those people for 15mins tmr. booo, wish me luck.

&hello joyce, gald that u got into ntu’s teaching(: i dont know what else to say but congrats. hahah, at least u get some music teaching experience first. then maybe open your school from there?

aye im still quite worried abt uni stuff despite ntu’s letter ): i might totally get rejected by NUS too since fass’s down for a tough competition this yr. yikes. anyway i hope joyce gets into ntu’s Teaching, its a new direction that she wants& at least she can do music teaching, something she likes! well, i can only wait for now.

its that sucky feeling.

i wanted to write about how i feel about ITE students. but i totally lost the mood. shall write that the next time.

anyway guess what. SMU interviewed 90% of the students already and processing ends in may.

i mean ABC aint that bad right. and even ppl who are lousier thn me got interviewed by econs or social science alr. i have a good CCA record and numerous hours of CIP. so did they leave me out or what ):

i need to destress because my work is so slack until im stressed abt how to make time pass. thank goodness for joyce! aye lady, i hope ur feet’s feeling better. im still secretly worried abt uni interviews. it doesnt help that everyone’s still asking me abt it every other day. i know its outta concern but sigh.. it freaks me out. everyone’s accepted into SOMETHING.

& u know what. i want a damn hot bf next time.
